We seem to have crossed some invisible fashion line in the last couple
weeks. Suddenly women are wearing floral skirts, bare legs and sandals,
even though the temperatures are about the same (10-15C with gusty wind).
I actually asked one of my co-workers if there was something significant
about August 15, like the way you're not supposed to wear white shoes
after labor day. Apparently not.
Around the same time, some new pollen showed up. Or maybe it's just the wind. All I know is that my nose has been irritable ever since. :/
3+ weeks ago, I bought a picture frame for my desk so that it might look
like I have an actual presence here. Last week, I finally sat down and
selected some pictures of Allyn and Ashley (after discovering that all my
favorite shots are horizontal, and not suitable for the vertical frame).
Last night, I finished cropping and color correcting them. At tea time, I
ran out to the photo place to print them, only to realize that for some
reason I cropped them to 4x5 rather than 4x6. Oh well, another day won't
kill me.

Also, the pollen is probably pine.
